Bail Bond Information

WHAT IS A BAIL BOND?

A bail bond is a written contract between the bail agent, the defendant, and the defendant's friends and/or family members that guarantees the defendant's appearance in court, every time he or she is required to attend.

HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST?

In the state of Florida, it is required to pay a bondsman 10% of the defendant's total bond amount or a minimum of $100.00, in some cases where the actual bond is under $1,000.00. This fee is set by the State of Florida and not the bail bondsman.

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET THE BAIL BOND PROCESS STARTED?

You will need a valid State-issued Driver's License or State issued Identification Card and a verifiable place of residence. You also need the 10% bail bond fee and must enter into the bail bond contract with the bail bondsman. If you have any other questions, please call us at (904) 475-2997

IS COLLATERAL REQUIRED TO GET A BAIL BOND WRITTEN?

Collateral is not always required and is determined on a case by case situation. Speak to a bail bond agent at Bryant Bail Bonds 24/7 for more information.

DO I GET MY MONEY BACK WHEN MY CASE IS OVER?

The 10% that you pay a bail bond agent is non-refundable and is the bail bond fee for bonding you or your loved one out of jail. Call Bryant Bail Bonds 24/7 for more information.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

At Bryant Bail Bonds, we are available 24/7. Agents are on call 24/7.

We are there when you need us, even when you face a charge without any money to secure your freedom. Our team has the experience necessary to prepare you for any eventuality. The law allows for the posting of state surety bonds when someone is willing to guarantee the amount for bail.

We want to help you use any tool at your disposal to gain your freedom or that of your loved one from incarceration. You are entitled to your day in court, but you cannot plan for your defense as effectively from the confines of a jail cell. We help you secure bail with a combination of bonds for your initial trial and any appeal. It would be best if you considered every avenue available to you, and only an experienced bonding agent that is licensed by the state of Florida can provide you with those options.

Please review the questions here and the answers to start your journey, and then give us a call to get to work. Let us know everything you can about the situation you face as a family, and we’ll do everything we can to advise you about your rights.
